Victoria
Requiem
Choir of Westminster Cathedral
James O'Donnell, director
Hyperion CDA66250
This
is a great recording of Victoria's great Requiem of 1611 in 6
parts. Victoria wrote two requiems, this was his second,
written toward the end of his life. The other
requiem, for 4 parts, is long out of print, having been
recorded in the 1950s.
