The MP3 Library

The "MP3 Library" was a service provided by Dovesong.com between July, 2001 and October 2003. This online library of great music was available to anyone with an internet connection and provided some of the greatest music known in the world, such as original Black and Southern gospel masterpieces from 78 records, treasures from the classical music of India, China and Persia, and treasures of Renaissance sacred music and Gregorian chant. The library went off line in October, 2003 when the computer company that provided the space and bandwidth fell victim to the falling economic conditions of the time. After talking with people from around the world who have tried to help put the library back on line, we were finally forced to close the library completely until such time that money and resources permit it to be reinstated. At that time, it would be our desire to see it expanded and broadened to proved even more selections than the 500 or so that were then available. A few examples of the music from the library have been preserved, with links added to the text library. 

This section will explain the scope of what we would like to accomplish as we expand and improve the MP3 library.
